Description

Environmental assessment registry documents pertaining to the proposed Petro-Canada Fort Hills Sturgeon Upgrader Project. The proposal is to construct and operate the Fort Hills Sturgeon Upgrader and associated infrastructure with a capacity to process 54,000 cubit meters per day of bitumen. The location is approximately 40 km northeast of the city of Edmonton in Sturgeon County. The EIA was deemed complete in 2007.
