Description

Parenting After Separation is a six-hour course, offered by Alberta Family Justice for parents and guardians who are separating or divorcing. The purpose of the course is to help parents understand the legal process of separation (or divorce), the way the children are likely to feel and behave, and what the parents need to know so they can make positive choices about how they will continue to parent their children, separately and together. The course explains how parents can stay focused on what the children need even when it is difficult to do so, whether they were married or never lived together.
