Description
This table provides statistics on Fee-For-Service Utilization by Health Service Code under the Alberta Health Care Insurance Plan (AHCIP). These reports include payment and service information for services provided by Alberta physicians to people registered with the Alberta Health Care Insurance Plan (AHCIP). Payments and Services provided to Albertans while they are out of country or out of province are excluded from these reports.

These reports are generated 180 days after fiscal year end to allow for receipt and processing of eligible claims. These statistics should only be compared to other Alberta Health Care Insurance Plan (AHCIP) statistics generated with the same 180 days lag. Similar reports have been published in the AHCIP Statistical Supplement, however the statistics in these reports are generated 90 days after fiscal year end.
