In 2005 a comprehensive review of Alberta’s advanced education system, known as A Learning Alberta, was initiated, with the goal of articulating a new vision and policy outcomes for Alberta’s advanced education system. Part of this review included a Minister’s Forum on Advanced Learning, held November 1 and 2, 2005 in Edmonton. This document was part of the background package provided to forum participants, and includes a proposed vision and policy framework.
