These trails are designated for beginner, intermediate and advanced snowshoers and are located in Simple Class 1 Terrain as defined by the Avalanche Terrain Exposure Scale. Snowshoers intending to venture off of these designated trails and into more complex avalanche terrain should have experience with avalanche terrain assessment and be equipped for winter backcountry travel.
