Information contained in the data set includes: Date, Shelter Name, Total Approved Beds, Number of Beds funded by SCSS, Number of Beds funded by SCSS for Winter Emergency Response, Daily Occupancy.

Description

The Government of Alberta will provide one-time funding assistance to eligible organizations who own or operate a public facility and whose mandate includes a cultural, religious, spiritual, or ceremonial component. Funding will help offset the costs incurred to relaunch gatherings while following Alberta’s public health measures. This would include facility space changes to create no-contact areas, better ventilation, procurement of personal protective equipment (PPE), contracted cleaning services, technology upgrades for online delivery of services and language translation of health related signage.

Description

The Advisory Task Force on Building Financial Capacity for School Board Trustees and Superintendents (the Task Force) was assembled to conduct a review of the training that school board trustees and superintendents need in order to oversee the financial affairs and financial health of school boards in Alberta. The Task Force also focused on minimizing administrative processes for school jurisdictions where possible. To maximize resources and minimize costs, the Task Force evaluated proposed changes and their financial implications in light of the work that had already been completed by stakeholder groups. The report has been submitted to the Honourable Dave Hancock, Minister of Education.
