Usage Considerations
The Ministry of Human Services is comprised of the former Ministries of Employment and Immigration and Children and Youth Services; Homeless Supports, from the former Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs; and Alberta Supports from the Ministry of Seniors.
The 2011/2012 report "This report was prepared on behalf of the Ministry by the Department of Human Services in collaboration with the Alberta Labour Relations Board and the Appeals Commission for Alberta Workers’ Compensation."
As of May 8, 2012, ministry absorbed responsibility for the Public Trustee Program previously administered by Alberta Justice.
As of January 19, 2017 split into: Community and Social Services annual report and: Children's Services annual report.
